Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the US. She is a Greek-American writer, syndicated journalist and a businesswoman. She is a co-founder of The Huffington Post the founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global and the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington, an independent liberal news site, is a television personality author, author and charitable donor. Originally from Greece she was able to move to England when she was sixteen and then graduated from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The famous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first time as president, and she held it before the age of 21. Following the graduation ceremony, she was a well-known Conservative syndicated journalist. After a few years later she created The Huffington Post which featured critiques of the current political landscape. She was able to get several prominent contributors who posted their thoughts about politics and culture. Arianna was famous when she decided to become an Independent candidate in the California Recall election to succeed the former governor Davis. In addition, she also spearheaded the Detroit campaign to encourage fuel-efficient automobiles. Forbes named her as 12th on its top 10 list of Most Popular Media Women. Guardian also included the HuffingtonPost in their Top 100 list in 2010. AOL Inc. acquired The Huffington Post, and she was made president of the media company. The acquisition included a number of AOL products at the time such as Engadget AOL style list and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos was a daughter of Konstantinos an advisor to management and a journalist. Although she was a close friend with her father, it was the relationship she shared with her mother which shaped her character. When she was a teen she demonstrated leadership skills that she still is known for. When she moved to England, she was 16, to pursue her education and was accepted into Girton College Cambridge. As a student, she joined the Cambridge Union, a college debate club. The third female president, and also the first foreigner she served as the head of Cambridge Union. She graduated in 1972 with the degree of Master's in Economics. After the graduation ceremony, she was a journalist and TV host. She was a guest on Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she began to write her own books with his help.
