Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay born on the 15th of September 1915 was a native of Ogden Utah. Fawn MacKay, born into the Mormon Church's first family, applied her brilliant abilities as a writer and her formidable researching skills to write the psycho-historical biographies about Joseph Smith. The book called"No Man has a clue about My History was published in 1945. This title is taken from the funeral sermon given by Joseph Smith, creator of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. His audience was shocked by his declaring: "You don't even know my name. There is no way to know the depths of my soul." My history is unknown to anybody. Truth is, I don't know. Fawn, a 29-year-old woman has written: "Since that moment of honesty at least three scores writers have taken on the challenge." Some have deified and abused the man, and others attempt to identify the cause. There isn't a problem the case that there's not enough documentation but rather they are wildly divergent. Compiling these documents - - sifting through first-hand and third-hand sources and fitting Mormons' tales of the past to other people's historical context - can be a challenge. It is both interesting and instructive. Fawn Brodie's life as a professional was committed to this cause. Thaddeus Stevens. Stevens was immortalized by her writing and by the results of her study. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate Historical History (1974).
