Zoe Saldana's parents Asalia And Aridio Saldana were born on the 19th June, 1977 in Passaic New Jersey. Her father is Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. She was born in Queens, New York. After she turned 10, she and her parents relocated to the Dominican Republic. They lived in the Dominican Republic for seven more years. Zoe discovered a keen desire to perform dances when living abroad. She started training in the ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy in order to master ballet along with a myriad of other styles of dance. It was a fantastic way to exercise an active youngster.
